London City Airport: This Boots was made for walking into

My home away from home: Boots, London City Airport
My home away from home: Boots, London City Airport

Just landed back in Zurich after a few days in London. And one of my absolutely favorite places there is the Boots at London City Airport.

Stop laughing.I have no clue what it is, but there’s something about this tiny little Boots that warms to cockles of my heart. Or whatever it is they say up there. I usually duck in right before heading to the gate. I mostly grab stuff for my nails (the Boots brand nail care items are fab).

And this time, they had a 3-for-2 deal on all skin care items.

Again, I don’t know why, but this place pulls me in.

Below is my little haul:

My little haul

Boots 4 Way Buffer Block (£2.00): Very gentle on my nails. Could last longer though. Buy two or three.

Soap & Glory Hand Food (£5.00): First time trying this, but I love Marcia Kilgore (founder of Bliss Spa).

Boots Salon Smooth Nail Files (£1.25):  Cheap but good.

Bio Oil (£14.99): First time trying this too. If the deal hadn’t been on, I probably wouldn’t have bought it, but folks rage about it.

Conditioning Nail Polish Pads (£1.50): They’ve changed the packaging, but the formula still seems to be the same. A tad oily, but removes polish.
